Methodology: Salomon and Ludwin was voted #2 Best Private Wealth Advisor for 2020 by the readers of Richmond Magazine through an online reader survey that was promoted in their print magazine, on their website and through e-newsletters and social media channels. The survey was open from March 26-May 8, 2020.
The rules for the survey were:
Survey participants must provide a minimum of 10 answers for their ballot to be counted and entered into our prize drawing for a two-night getaway to the Gaylord National resort during the Christmas season. The package includes room accommodations for up to a family of four (based on availability), breakfast one morning, tickets to “ICE!” — Gaylord Hotels’ must-experience holiday attraction — applicable taxes, daily resort fee and self-parking for one vehicle. (Or the prize equivalent of $850 due to possible restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic)
Please give only one response per question. Only one survey per person is allowed. Nominate locally owned businesses only. Businesses are not permitted to fill out or submit ballots on behalf of their employees, customers or anyone else — with or without consent. Any business offering discounts or anything of value in exchange for votes will be automatically disqualified. The required fields of information must be filled out in order to be eligible. All categories apply to the Richmond region. All responses are confidential, and no personal information will be shared with any third parties. Any attempts at ballot stuffing will render those entries ineligible.
We received more than 1,600 ballots, which were tabulated by a staff member who checked each ballot to make sure it adhered to the rules. Any ballots that did not meet all requirements were discarded. It takes about a week to tabulate the results, as the survey had about 200 categories.
All results were provided by our readers. The survey results are in no way influenced by advertising.
